Gonggi

Description

Gonggi (공기) is a traditional Korean game, also known as “the game of marbles” in English. It involves small plastic or rubber pieces, usually in the shape of tiny balls or marbles, which are manipulated using the fingers. The game is often played by children and is a popular pastime in Korea, similar to how other cultures have games with small objects and hand-eye coordination challenges.

There are different variations of how Gonggi is played, but one of the most common versions involves players using their fingers to pick up and stack marbles or pieces in a specific order or pattern. The goal is to complete the challenges without dropping or mishandling the pieces.

In some versions, players use five small stones or marbles, and they perform a series of steps to toss and catch them in a particular sequence, gradually increasing the difficulty.
